Mincidelice JL Bourg en Bresse stunned Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana and took “revenge” for their Round 2 meeting with a 76-69 victory at home, to turn last week’s victory into a two-game streak.

The French side kept Cedevita at bay in the second quarter, allowing just 5 points to their visitors to get hold of the lead, and managed to outstand the pressure in the second half to emerge victoriously.

Axel Julien paced Bourg with a double-double of 12 points and 10 assists, along with 4 rebounds for a total PIR of 24.  Maxime Courby led all scorers of the hosts with 13 points, while Hugo Benitez dropped 10 points.

Yogi Ferrell’s 24-point performance wasn’t enough to save the day for Cedevita, which has now lost 7 of its last 8 games to fall to a 3-7 record.

Edo Muric had a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds for Jurica Golemac’s squad, Jaka Blazic also posted 13 points.

Dylan Ennis took charge upon his return to action, to lead Gran Canaria past Promitheas Patras with an 81-62 victory at home. Ennis dropped an 18-point performance to help GranCa survive the pressure of the first half and move on with their fourth consecutive victory.

Khalifa Diop contributed to the efforts with 11 points, while Nicolas Brussino and Chris Kramer shared 10 points apiece.

Kendrick Ray posted 17 points and Dario Hunt had 15 for Promitheas, which has now suffered its fifth defeat in a row.
