Justus Hollantz is the new member of Spanish club Broegan Lugo, leaving Germany and the Hamburg Towers, as his agent Misko Raznatovic announced. He signed a two-year (1+1) contract.
The 20-year-old German guard who has also declared himself eligible for the upcoming NBA draft, made his 7DAYS EuroCup debut this season and has turned into a core piece of coach Pedro Calles’ rotation. He has started 8 of his total 12 games in the competition, averaging 8.4 points, 3.8 assists, and 2.2 rebounds across 20:13 minutes on the court.
Hollatz joined Hamburg in 2018 and was included in the senior team for the first time during the 2019-20 campaign, competing in 18 games, while he appeared in 33 contests in 2020-21.
He was named in Germany’s selection for the FIBA World Cup 2023 qualifiers in the last two windows (November 2021 – February 2022), averaging 10.3 points and 4.8 assists.
