Moving his talents overseas, Kyle Guy is a new player of Joventut.

Guy, 24, inked a one-year contract, the 7DAYS EuroCup side announced Friday furthering the earlier report about the involved parties nearing a deal. The 2019 NCAA champion and Final Four MVP with Virginia was limited to 3.1 points, 1.0 rebounds, 0.9 assists, and 0.2 steals per NBA game logging 53 appearances in the league between the Sacramento Kings and Miami Heat the last three seasons. Additional and more productive professional experience stems from the G League spells at the Stockton Kings, Sioux Falls Skyforce, and Cleveland Charge.

Fellow former NBA players Henry Ellenson and William Howard have already been confirmed by the team based in Badalona this offseason. Running it back are Yannick Kraag, Pep Busquets, Pau Ribas, Albert Ventura, Guillem Vives, Andres Feliz, Simon Birgander, Joel Parra, and Ante Tomic.

Elsewhere in the EuroCup field, Will Weaver was appointed head coach at Paris for the 2022-23 season. The 38-year-old tactician is a former boss of the NBL’s Sydney Kings and G League’s Long Island Nets and has also worked as an assistant in the NBA for the Houston Rockets, Brooklyn Nets, and Philadelphia 76ers.

Earlier Friday, Promitheas announced penning Greek center Dimitris Kaklamanakis to a one-year contract. The fifth newcomer for the team located in Patras followed Anthony Cowan Jr., D. J. Funderburk, Arnoldas Kulboka, and Vassilis Mouratos.

Also, Hapoel SP Tel Aviv agreed with James Young to renew their contract until the end of the 2022-23 season. The Kentucky product and veteran of 108 NBA games made his way to Tel Aviv last March.
