The London Lions confirmed yet another addition to the squad.

Tomislav Zubcic officially joined the 7DAYS EuroCup newcomers on Thursday. The Croatian forward/center penned a contract for the coming season.

Brooklyn-born British international Tarik Phillip recently shaped another summer signing. Earlier additions secured the services of players the likes of Sam Dekker, Vojtech Hruban, Kostas Koufos, Luke Nelson, Kareem Queeley, Josh Sharma, Ovie Soko, and Mo Soluade. Meanwhile, Bradley Kabozat was promoted to the senior squad on a four-year contract.

Zubcic, 32, entered the promising mix of international and British basketball. Logging 23 appearances in the Basketball Champions League as a member of Tofas over the last couple of seasons, he is now set to up the personal total of appearances in EuroCup from the standing amount of 42, split between Nizhny Novgorod, Cedevita, and Cibona. The spells at Cedevita and Cibona also produced 39 games played in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.

Back in 2012, he was selected by the Toronto Raptors with the 56th overall pick. His NBA rights were traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2015 and renounced one year later following a brief stint at the Oklahoma City Blue in the D League, now called G League.

Coming out of the Zadar youth teams, he turned pro at Rudes in the 2007-08 season. From the five-year run at Cibona to Lithuania and Rytas in 2012-13, he spent three seasons at Cedevita. Back in Europe, Avtodor, Trabzonspor, Telekom Baskets Bonn, Igokea, Baxi Manresa, and Enisey were included in the next stops until landing in Bursa and now in London.
