After playing some of the 2022-23 Basketball Champions League games with Dinamo Sassari, the 27-year-old Aleksej Nikolic is the newest Germani Brescia addition.
The 7DAYS EuroCup Italian team decided to sign the Slovenian point guard to replace Troy Caupain, who had to undergo surgery and will miss at least four months of playing time.
In three BCL games against PAOK (two times) and JDA Dijon, Nikolic averaged 7.3 points, 3 assists, and 1.7 rebounds with 100% at the charity stripe in under 17 minutes on the court.
Earlier in the season, the 2017 EuroBasket champion joined the Sardinian team to replace Chris Dowe.
