Paris Basketball announced that the club signed veteran swingman Michael Roll. The French team moved towards this addition after the injury of leading scorer Kyle Allman Jr.
Roll, 35, arrives at Paris after last playing for US Monastir in Tunisia. He’s previously been a member of such clubs as Olimpia Milano, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Baskonia, Pinar Karsiyaka and Besiktas, among others.
Last season, Roll averaged 13.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists with Karsiyaka in the Basketball Champions League. He will be making his debut with Paris in the French League against Dijon Saturday (28/1).
Paris have advanced to the EuroCup playoffs in its first season in the competition and is aiming toward getting a spot in Group B that will grant them homecourt advantage in the rest of the tournament.
