With the end of the season, Bursaspor has started planning for the future and made the decision to part ways with long-term general manager Nedim Yucel.
Subsequently, Uludag Beverage group, the title sponsor of Bursaspor, announced that they will relinquish all their remaining dues and will not be the title sponsor in the upcoming season.
Last year, despite being one of the lowest-budget teams in the 7DAYS EuroCup, Bursaspor created a fairy tale story. Defeating strong teams like Partizan and Cedevita Olimpija away in the single-elimination format, and reached the final.
However, this season Bursaspor could not replicate the same success in the EuroCup, and in the Turkish Basketball Super League, they were unable to advance past the quarterfinals, falling to Pınar Karşıyaka.
