Following the 3-1 loss in the ACB Semifinals series against Real Madrid, Kyle Guy and Joventut Badalona’s paths won’t cross anymore. After the player’s announcement on Wednesday night, the green-and-black side also announced they are parting ways.
In his first-ever season in Europe, the 25-year-old shooting guard put up 11.8 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 2.6 assists in the 7DAYS EuroCup, leading his team until the semifinals against Gran Canaria, which went on to win the whole thing against Turk Telekom Ankara before deciding to not playing in the EuroLeague next season.
In the ACB, instead, the former Virginia Cavaliers player had an amazing run in the ACB Playoffs, scoring 19.8 points per game and shooting 45.3% from three first against Baskonia and then Real Madrid.
