American center Ethan Happ and Joventut Badalona have reached a deal per Eurohoops on a 2+1-year contract, according to a report by Chema de Lucas in Movistar.
Happ, who previously played for Rio Breogan, had a successful season in the ACB, averaging 12.4 points and 7.9 rebounds per game. While Peristeri also showed interest in his services,
The 27-year-old player began his professional career with Olympiacos in 2019 after spending four years at Wisconsin. He was later loaned to Vanoli Cremona and went on to play for Fortitudo Bologna and Dinamo Sassari in Italy. In January 2022, Happ joined Riesen Ludwigsburg before signing with Breogan last summer. He had a productive season in Spain and will now remain with Joventut.
In addition to making a deal with Happ, Joventut also secured a new contract with Vladimir Brodziansky. However, Kyle Guy has departed from Carles Duran’s team.
