The newest Dolomiti Energia Trento coached by Paolo Galbiati is taking shape. After parting ways with Andrea Mezzanotte and officially confirming Andrejs Grazulis, the black-and-white EuroCup side secures Davide Alviti, who joins after leaving Olimpia Milan. In last year’s EuroLeague, he had 2.0 poinst and 1.8 rebounds per game in only five appearances.
“I am very happy with Davide’s signing: I expect a player with extra motivations, ready to put himself at the service of the team but with a great desire to do well on a personal level. I am convinced that in the last two years he has grown mentally, having been able to confront and share the locker room with players and men of absolute value”, Paolo Galbiati welcomed him.
Following the official 2023-24 BKT EuroCup Draw, Dolomiti Energia Trento will face Dreamland Gran Canaria, Buducnost VOLI, ratiopharm Ulm, JL Bourg-en-Bresse, Turk Telekom Ankara, 7bet-Lietkabelis
Aris Thessaloniki, Slask Wroclaw, and U-BT Cluj-Napoca.
London Lions retain Kareem Queeley
Kittitian-British shooting guard Kareem Queeley is staying with London Lions, as officially confirmed.
The 22-year-old joined London Lions in 2022 from Spanish Burgos and had a minor role in EuroCup, averaging less than 10 minutes on the court in his six appearances and 3,1 points per game in BBL.
After a promising youth career, Kareem Queeley signed a junior contract with Real Madrid and played for their B team from 2017 to 2019. Following his time with Real Madrid, Queeley moved to Burgos, where he spent three years under contract with the Spanish team before moving to the English capital.
Talented Enzo Shahrvin joins Paris
As officially confirmed, Enzo Shahrvin has signed for Paris Basketball from Pau-Lacq-Orthez. The 20-year-old French power forward has inked a contract until 2026.
“With a height of 2.01m, he arrives in the capital to take a step further while bringing his athletic qualities and the power of his dunks. He will wear shirt number 18,” as stated in the club’s announcement.
Last season, Shahrvin started 20 out of 32 games in the French Betclic Elite and averaged 4.8 points and four rebounds.
“Enzo is destined for a brilliant future, and with hard work and rigor, he can become a very high-level center. He is a unique player: the mixture of speed and physical power is very rare. He already showed last season that he contributes to the game with an effective finish, his protection of the basket, as well as his qualities as a rebounder, and I also like how he sees the game as a passer. These are all the qualities that make him a perfect fit for our project. Enzo’s arrival also suits the club’s DNA of finding young talent and helping them develop,” Paris head coach Tuomas Iisalo said about the new signing.
