As officially announced by the club, 31-year-old point guard Kenny Chery has joined Joventut Badalona on a two-month deal.
“Joventut Badalona Club and point guard Kenny Chery have reached an agreement for two months. The Canadian player with Haitian citizenship will soon join the green-and-black team to bolster Joventut’s point guard position,” reads the official statement.
Chery began his professional career in 2015 with Alba Fehervar and has played for many European clubs including Real Betis, Gipuzkoa Basket, Nanterre, Brescia, Avtodor, and Gran Canaria. He has made 64 appearances in the ACB league, averaging 10.8 points.
Last season, the experienced point guard played in Turkey for Aliaga Petkim Spor and averaged 14 points with 3.4 assists.
