EuroCup reigning champion Gran Canaria relaxed a bit down the stretch after going up by even 23 but ultimately had no problem beating JL Boug en Bresse 84 – 76 to stay undefeated four rounds into the season. The Spanish side is the only team on 4-0 along with Paris Basketball that escaped the London Lions Tuesday (24/10).
Ben Lammers led the Gran Canaria efforts with 17 points and seven rebounds while Pierre Pelos had 12 points plus six rebounds and Miquel Salvo posted 11 points plus six boards of his own. The hosts led 69 – 46 late in the third period, a margin that was too much for Bourg to overcome.
Jeremy Morgan (13 points) and Earl Rowland (12 points) stood out from Bourg.
Quinn Ellis scored the winning jumper with less than a second remaining as Dolomiti Energia Trento defeated Lietkabelis 93 – 92 on the road to grab its first victory this season. This basket was the only points Trento scored in the last 4:45.

Ellis finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds while Davide Alviti and Paul Biligha also scored 13 apiece. Gediminas Orelik dropped 20 points for Lietkabelis who had come back from down 81 – 91 halfway through the fourth period.
Klemen Prepelic was productive (16 points, 11 assists, and seven turnovers) in his Cedevita Olimpija debut, but Prometey meant business in Ljubljana. Behind 20 points plus six rebounds by Roland March and 22 (!) offensive boards, the Ukrainian side took an 83 – 90 road win to get back on track after two defeats in a row.
Marcus Keene brought Prometey 12 points, seven assists, five rebounds, and four steals while Ondrej Balvin delivered 11 points, 14 rebounds (eight on offense), and five dimes.
Speaking about away victories, Aris Thessaloniki routed Slask Wraclow 80 – 63 thanks to some strong defense in the first half. The visiting team allowed just 22 points and scored 37 to leave Poland with the win.
Roberto Gallinat had 23 points and Marcus Carr scored 18 for Aris. Artsiom Parakhouski posted 11 points plus six rebounds for Slask.
