Pushing Joventut Badalona to the big home 108-76 win over Veolia Towers Hamburg, Andrew Andrews was named BKT EuroCup Round 5 MVP, bringing home a 33-point (4/8 2FG, 5/8 3FG, 10/10 FT) and 42-PIR performance with 3 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals, 7 fouls drawn.

The 30-year-old guard shared his happiness after the win. “We were ready to come out and fight. As you know, we’ve been suffering a lot of injuries and the last couple of games were not the best for us. So, coming out and fighting was more important than even getting the win”, he commented.

Living a controversial season with Panathinaikos, which ended with his return to Frutti Extra Bursaspor, Andrew Andrews is finally back to his glory days in the European competition, shining like in the 2021-22 season, when he brought the Turkish team all the way to the final against Virtus Bologna

Playing three games out of five since the start of this season, he has been averaging 17.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game while shooting with excellent percentages: 47.8% from two-point range, 41.7% from deep, and 100.0% over 15 total attempts at the charity stripe.
