After parting ways with Colbey Ross, Buducnost Voli strengthens competition under the rim, signing 26-year-old Serbian power forward Nikola Tanaskovic from Igokea.
As officially announced by the Montenegrin club, Tanaskovic has inked a two-and-a-half-year contract.
He emerged as one of the most prominent players at Igokea this season, boasting averages of 11.9 points and 5.7 rebounds in the ABA League, and 11.5 points and 4.8 rebounds in the Basketball Champions League.
With his move to Buducnost, Tanaskovic will make a return to the BKT EuroCup, where he briefly played with Partizan in the 2017/18 season, recording four matches and averaging seven points and five rebounds.
The 26-year-old power forward initiated his career with Partizan, later moving to Mega in 2019. Subsequently, he played for Borac Banja Luka, and Igokea, and had a brief stint with Rio Breogan in the ACB League.
