Leaving a big impression on his last European game before heading to the NBA, Karlo Matkovic has now officially left Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana.
The 22-year-old, selected with the 52nd pick in the 2022 NBA Draft by the New Orleans Pelicans, has contributed to his team’s victory by going very close to a double-double of 19 points and 9 rebounds in the ABA League against Borac Mozzart. Today, the Slovenian club said goodbye to him.
Averaging 14.8 points and 6.4 rebounds per game with Cedevita in the BKT EuroCup, he has been one of the best prospects in the competition despite his team’s lack of victories Internationally. In this year’s ABA League, he was having 15.6 points and 7.2 rebounds per night.
