Club president since founding Paris along with Eric Schwartz in 2018, David Kahn guided the team based in the capital of France to the top-tier division of the country and near a berth in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.
Kahn, 62, was the latest guest on A Quarter with Kyle Hines.
“I’m a Europhile,” mentioned the former president of basketball operations for the Minnesota Timberwolves on expanding his executive career from the NBA to Europe and Paris.
“Dreams don’t just happen by accident,” he stressed.

Per EuroleagueBasketball.net: “Paris Basketball has been one of the hottest teams on the continent this season, so it is only natural that club president David Kahn is the latest guest on A Quarter with Kyle Hines. Over the course of almost 25 minutes, Kahn explains the trajectory Paris has been on since its inception in 2018 and how this team, led by head coach Tuomas Iisalo and star players TJ Shorts and Nadir Hifi, has serious aims of winning the BKT EuroCup and rising to the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. It hasn’t been plain sailing for Paris since Kahn’s project began, as he explains, but with a winning team and a brand-new gym, Adidas Arena, it’s certainly a good time to be a fan of basketball in the French capital.”
Battling for a spot in the BKT EuroCup Finals, Paris went up 1-0 in the best-of-three series versus the London Lions on Tuesday.
