Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv announces the appointment of Stefanos Dedas as the team’s coach until the end of the season. Dedas will land in Israel in the coming days.
Barak Lederer, who coached the team in the last two league games, will also guide the team against Hapoel Afula on Friday and will continue at the club as the Greek tactician’s assistant.
“We thank Barak Lederer for proving his abilities as a head coach and showing once again that he can always be trusted. Barak will remain Dedas’ assistant, and we are happy about that. Hapoel Tel Aviv has not given up on its goals this season and will do everything to meet them. Dedas is a proven coach who can help us with this,” Hapoel Tel Aviv chairman Rami Cohen said.
Dedas previously coached Hapoel Holon and AEK Athens and recently served as assistant coach to Dimitris Itoudis at Fenerbahce.
