JL Bourg announced the contract extension of Maksim Salash until June 2025. His contract includes an exit clause, with a fee, valid until June 30, limited to certain high-value opportunities.
Salash has been a major contributor for the French team, averaging 9.8 points and a PIR of 10.7 during the 2023/24 season, in which Bourg played in the EuroCup final.
He joined the team last summer after a season with Nizhny Novgorod and previously played for San Pablo Burgos, Tsmoki-Minsk, and BC Kalev.
Before extending Salash, Bourg announced the signing of Jordan Usher.
Javon Bess joins Turk Telekom
Turk Telekom continues its preparations for the new season by adding another player to its ranks.
The Turkish club, which brought back Erdem Can as head coach, has signed US swingman Javon Bess, who competed in Germany for Würzburg Baskets last season.
Bess played 32 games in the German BBL, averaging 10.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.8 assists.
