Beginning the 2023-24 season in the Italian league with Napoli, where he historically won the Italian Cup after beating Olimpia Milan, Tyler Ennis finished playing with Hapoel Tel Aviv, ending up on the losing side against Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Israeli League Finals.

Now, the 29-year-old point guard has come back to Italy to sign with Reyer Venice on a multi-year deal. He convinced Neven Spahija’s team to acquire him after averaging 14.1 points and 6.7 assists per game with head coach Igor Milicic in Napoli.

Brother of current UCAM Murcia’s guard Dylan Ennis, he first moved overseas in 2018 with Fenerbahce, where he played three EuroLeague games. From then on, he played for Turk Telekom Ankara, Tofas Bursa, Napoli, and Hapoel Tel Aviv. In the past, he played in the NBA from 2014 to 2018.

Brynton Lemar will debut in the BKT EuroCup

The Canadian guard won’t be the only player moving away from Israel, as Brynton Lemar left Hapoel Jerusalem to make his debut in the BKT EuroCup, signing a one-year deal with Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana.

“You can expect me to play hard every single game, and to be a true competitor. You can expect me to play at a high level and to compete, give it my all every night, offensively and defensively, and to be aggressive, that’s what I expect from myself”, the 29-year-old player commented.

Playing with AEK in the 2022-23 Basketball Champions League season, he then joined Hapoel Jerusalem for this past campaign, averaging 7.7 points per game with the Israeli side, winning the Israeli Cup. After graduating from UC Davis in 2017, he moved overseas with Nancy.
