Two-time All-Basketball Champions League guard Joe Ragland signed with Hapoel Tel Aviv for the 2024-25 season, the club announced. The 34-year-old veteran is back in EuroCup, where he last played in 2018-19 as a player of Crvena Zvezda.
Ragland had a superb 2023-24 season with Peristari Athens. He averaged 15.2 points, 8.9 assists and 3.5 rebounds as the team made the Basketball Champions League Final Four for the first time in club history while posting 12.3 points and 7.8 assists in the Greek League, leading the squad to the semifinals.
Hapoel Tel Aviv becomes the third Israeli team in Ragland’s career. He previously played for Hapoel Eilat (2020-21) and Hapoel Holon (2021-23), emerging as a Basketball Champions League star with the latter.
