Caleb Homesley comes back to the BKT EuroCup to join Gran Canaria

After announcing the arrival of Carlos Alocen, Gran Canaria reinforced its roster to come back stronger in next year’s BKT EuroCup, adding the American forward Caleb Homesley to Jaka Lakovic’s team.

The Liberty Flames product, who also played with the Erie BayHawks in the G-League in the past as well, is coming off a campaign in Turkey with Tofas Bursa. In the 2023-24 Basketball Champions League, the 27-year-old forward averaged 13.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game.

Making the 2021-22 All-EuroCup Second Team with the Hamburg Towers, being the third-best leading scorer of the competition alongside Semaj Christon with 17.4 points per game, he then moved for one year to Zenit Saint Petersburg in the VTB League, averaging 11.1 points per encounter in Russia.
