One of the teams that mostly attention to young players on the market recently brought in a 2006-born promising asset. We’re talking about Denis Badalau, who joined Aquila Basket Trento.
He recently shone at the Adidas Next Generation Tournament Finals in Berlin, almost averaging a double-double per game at 16.7 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 2.7 steals with Milan.
“[Denis] Badalau is a guy with great character and temperament, he has a beautiful story made of challenges and I am sure he will face this new experience with the right spirit”, head coach Paolo Galbiati said upon the arrival of the 2006-born.
Trento will play once again in the BKT EuroCup next year, being drawn into Group A alongside Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv, Dreamland Gran Canaria, Joventut Badalona, Ratiopharm Ulm, Buducnost Voli Podgorica, Besiktas Emlakjet Istanbul, Bahcesehir College Istanbul, Wolves Twinsbet Vilnius, and Trefl Sopot.
With his national team, he led Romania with 14.3 points and 7.4 rebounds in the 2023 FIBA U18 European Championship Division B. He still hasn’t debuted with the senior national team.
Denis Badalau for the future 🖤🦅
