Following Giorgos Kalaitzakis, 7bet-Lietkabelis welcomed a second new player on the way to the 2024-25 edition of the BKT EuroCup with Danielius Lavrinovicius signed a two-year contract to move his talents to Panevezys. Lavrinovicius spent the 2023-24 campaign at Zalgiris, registering 19 appearances in his first season in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. He tallied 1.4 points and 1.6 rebounds per contest. Next season, he will debut in the Eurocup.
For the team coached by Nenad Canak, captain Vytenis Lipkevicius signed a contract extension earlier in the offseason. Umana Reyer Venice retained Mfiondu Kabengele for the next season. The 26-year-old center moved to the Italian club midway through the 2023-24 season and debuted in the second tier of Euroleague Basketball. In addition, experienced point guard Juan Fernandez joined Venice.
Meanwhile, Besiktas Fibabanka retained Derek Needham, Turk Telekom added Kyle Alexander and Yonatan Rabinowitz re-upped with Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv.
