13 years after his last overseas campaign with Spartak Moscow, Patrick Beverley is making his return to the BKT EuroCup with another red-and-white side, Hapoel Tel Aviv. He will join forces with his former assistant coach Stefanos Dedas.

“They gave me everything I asked for… I couldn’t refuse”, the 36-year-old American guard expressed through the official social media profile of his podcast, the Pat Bev Pod.

As officially confirmed later on by Hapoel Tel Aviv, he signed a two-year deal with the Israeli team.

He’s coming off a 2023-24 season split between Philadelphia and Milwaukee after also wearing the jerseys of Houston, Los Angeles Clippers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Los Angeles Lakers, and Chicago Bulls.

The American guard started his professional career in Dnipro before debuting in the EuroLeague with another red-and-white powerhouse, winning the 2009-10 Greek Cup with Olympiacos.

After losing in the Israeli Finals last year, Hapoel Tel Aviv wants to take revenge over their domestic fiercest rivals of Maccabi, while also making their presence felt in the 2024-25 BKT EuroCup, where they will play alongside countrymen of Hapoel Jerusalem.

Patrick Beverley joins a long list of huge new signings, including Ish Wainwright, Marcus Foster, Ben Bentil, Joe Ragland, Oz Blayzer, Johnathan Motley, and Noam Yaacov, among other new faces.
