Dominating with Zadar in the past two ABA League seasons, it’s time for Luka Bozic to leave his home country to return to the BKT EuroCup. He has signed for two years with Valencia Basket.
Named MVP of the competition in back-to-back fashion between 2023 and 2024, while obviously also named into the All-ABA League First Team for both years, he was dominant in Croatia.
In the 2023-24 ABA League campaign, the 28-year-old huge forward, who also collected two huge triple-doubles this past season, had 19.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game.
He already played once in the BKT EuroCup, only averaging 2.2 points and 1.3 rebounds with Buducnost in 2019-20. Back then, he wasn’t showing dominance yet as he proved with Zadar later on.
Luka Bozic has always played in the former Yugoslavia area, making his presence felt in the ABA League. He won the bronze medal at the 2014 European Championship with the U18 Croatian national team, and the silver medal at the 2015 Basketball World Cup with the U19 Croatian side.
