Gran Canaria announced the addition of center George Conditt while Ratiopharm Ulm officially signed former NBA forward Isaiah Roby.

Per EuroCup Basketball:

Dreamland Gran Canaria added another big body to its frontcourt by signing center George Conditt to a one-year deal, the club announced Friday night. Conditt (2.11 meters, 23 years old) has spent last season with Rip City Remix of the G-League in his native United States, where he averaged 12.8 points, 8.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.4 blocks in 46 appearances.

Conditt returns to the BKT EuroCup after a year away, having made his competition debut in the 2022-23 season with Promitheas Patras. He posted 7.6 points and 4.2 rebounds in 20 games, helping Promitheas reach the quarterfinals that season.

A native of Chicago with Puerto Rican ancestry, Conditt began his professional career with Gigantes de Carolina in Puerto Rico in 2022. That is also where he spent time in 2023, in between playing for Promitheas and Rip City. He has also been a member of the Puerto Rico national team, and is getting ready to participate at the Olympic Games in Paris playing against South Sudan, Serbia and USA.

Ratiopharm Ulm has completed the signing of Isaiah Roby, who played 151 games in the NBA between the 2019-20 and 2022-23 seasons.

Roby (2.03 meters, 26 years old) last played for the Westchester Knicks in the G League, averaging 13.7 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.6 steals in 26 games last season.

Prior to last season, Roby had spent the previous four seasons playing in the NBA.

While he played just three times in the 2019-20 campaign, the power forward earned a bigger spot in the rotation in 2020-21, playing 61 games and averaging 8.7 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists.

Then, in 2021-22, Roby had his best scoring season to date, posting 10.1 points, 4.8 assists and 1.6 assists in 45 games.

His last season in the NBA, in 2022-23, he played 42 times for the San Antonio Spurs, largely off the bench, and averaged 4.1 points and 2.5 rebounds.

Next season will be Roby’s first campaign outside of the United States.
