Mateusz Ponitka is leaving the EuroLeague after a season with Partizan and moving his talents to BKT EuroCup.
As officially confirmed, the Polish forward has joined Bahcesehir Koleji on a one-year deal.
Ponitka has therefore joined an ambitious project of the Istanbul club under the guidance of Dejan Radonjic and will continue to play with Jaleen Smith, with whom he was at Partizan last season.
He is returning to the EuroCup after five years in the top continental competition, last playing in 2019 for Lokomotiv Kuban.
This season in the EuroLeague, Ponitka averaged 2.4 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 0.7 assists per game in 26 games played, with a 3.1 PIR.
