Dreamland Gran Canaria added 30-year-old combo guard Joe Thomasson, heading to the 2024-25 installment of the BKT EuroCup.

The Dayton native signed a one-year contract, returning to the second tier of Euroleague Basketball following four appearances in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague with Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv during the 2023-24 season, averaging 1.0 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 0.8 steals per contest. Last season, he also debuted with the senior national team of Georgia as a naturalized player for head coach Aleksandar Dzikic. In 2022-23, he logged ten games played in EuroCup with Promitheas, packing 14.1 points per contest.

Earlier in the offseason, Andrew Albicy, Carlos Alocen, Nico Brussino, George Conditt IV, Caleb Homesley, Jovan Kljajic, Pierre Pelos, Miquel Salvo, John Shurna, Mike Tobey, and Jakub Urbaniak were placed on the squad for the team coached by Jaka Lakovic. The team based in Las Palmas remains among the early favorites for an extended EuroCup run.

A former teammate of Thomasson at Promitheas, Arnoldas Kulboka joined Wolves Twinsbet, emerging among opponents in Group A of the EuroCup Regular Season. The 26-year-old Lithuanian forward missed the entire 2023-24 season due to injury, after being featured in 20 EuroCup games with the Patras outfit and putting up 14.7 points per contest.

Andrew Andrews, Daniel Baslyk, Marek Blazevic, Garrison Brooks, Anthony Cowan Jr., Matas Jogela, Vaidas Kariniauskas, Regimantas Miniotas, Jeffery Taylor, Tre’Shawn Thurman, and Kristupas Zemaitis were previously confirmed by the Vilnius outfit for the next season.
