Indeed, the EuroCup winner earns a spot in the next installment of EuroLeague. Beverley joining forces with Ben Bentil, Marcus Foster, Johnathan Motley, and Joe Ragland confidently places Hapoel Tel Aviv among this season’s contenders. Braian Angola, Oz Blayzer, Tomer Ginat, Guy Palatin, Yonatan Rabinowitz, Miron Ruina, Bar Timor, Ish Wainright, and Noam Yaacov are also on the roster for head coach Stefanos Dedas.
Beverley, 36, is a veteran of 19 EuroLeague appearances and played in the championship game of the Final Four with Olympiacos during the 2009-10 season. Moving on from the Reds, he also logged 22 games played in the 7DAYS EuroCup and was named season MVP in 2012 as a member of Spartak Saint Petersburg.
Over the next 12 years in the NBA, he made his way to 737 games with the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Lakers, Chicago Bulls, and Philadelphia 76ers.
