Besiktas Fibabanka Istanbul improved to 2-2 in the BKT EuroCup by dominating the Round 4 opener.
Last season’s semifinalists crushed Ratiopharm Ulm at home with a final score of 107-74, scoring the most points ever in their EuroCup history.
The first quarter ended with a score of 31-9 for the hosts, and by halftime, the scoreboard read 61-28. It was pretty clear that the game was over for the visitors, but Besiktas continued dominating, entering the final 10 minutes with a huge 40-point margin.
Kyle Allman led the winning team with 16 points, while Jonah Mathews and Dustin Sleva added 15 points each. Kelan Martin and Yigit Arslan contributed 12 points apiece, and Conor Morgan also finished in double digits with 11 points.
As for Ulm, who suffered their first defeat, Noa Essangue scored 19 points, Ben Saraf added 16, and Marcio scored 10 points.
