Hapoel Tel Aviv and Beverley on a roll, Bourg stays perfect over Turk Telekom

After an opening defeat to Joventut, Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv has started a winning streak, with the third straight BKT EuroCup victory coming against Gran Canaria.

The Israeli side had another convincing win, taking down the Spanish team with a final score of 79-66.

Patrick Beverley had another great game, leading Hapoel with 15 points, five rebounds, and five assists for a game-high PIR of 26, followed by Tomer Ginat’s 14 points. Ish Wainright added 12 points, and Bruno Caboclo contributed 11 points.

As for Gran Canaria, Caleb Homesley stood out with 17 points, but only Nicolás Brussino followed with 12.

JL Bourg secured a big win over Turk Telekom, defeating the Turkish side at home with a score of 67-63. This victory keeps Bourg perfect after four rounds and positions them at the top of Group B, while Erdem Can’s team suffered its first defeat.

In a very tough game, the French side had only three players in double digits, with Xavier Castaneda, Adrian Nelson, and Maksim Salash each scoring 10 points.

On the other side, Anthony Brown scored nearly a third of Turk Telekom’s total points, finishing the game with 20. Javon Bess added 12, and Kyle Alexander contributed 10 points along with eight rebounds.

Cedevita Olimpija got back on track in Group B and improved to 3-1 with a 76-72 win over Lietkabelis in Ljubljana.

Devin Robinson, with 17 points, and Jaka Blazic, with 14 points, led Zvezdan Mitrovic’s side to victory, while Mantas Rubstavicius and Andrija Stipanovic scored 13 points apiece for the Lithuanian team.

Cluj-Napoca crushes Hamburg on the road 67-103, as Zavier Simpson dominates for the winning side with 28 points and eight assists. The Romanian side grabbed its first win of the season, while Hamburg Towers remained winless, falling to 0-4 in Group B.
