After the early termination of the loan of Lefteris Mantzoukas from Panathinaikos Aktor and parting ways with Rawle Alkins, Aris Midea completed a transfer, powering up the roster with Tilemachos Vissariou.

Vissariou, 22, signed a contract for the remainder of the 2024-25 season, the team announced on Friday.

The Greek forward joins forces with James Banks III, Lefteris Bochoridis, Manos Chatzdikis, Donovan Clay, David DeJulius, Giorgos Gkiouzelis, D’Moi Hodge, Landers Nolley II, Josh Roberts, Vassilis Toliopoulos, and Trey Woodbury at the team coached by Giannis Kastritis.

Starting the 2024-25 campaign in Cyprus with Keravnos, Vissariou tallied 16 points in a loss to Trepca in the Qualification Rounds of the Basketball Champions League. He went on with 4.0 points and 1.5 rebounds per contest over two appearances in the FIBA Europe Cup.

The next assignment corresponds to his debut in the BKT EuroCup. Seeking a ticket to the next round, the team based in Thessaloniki sits at 1-3 in Group B of the Regular Season, early in an 18-game double-legged round-robin schedule. At the domestic level, a 0-2 record marked struggles at the top of the Stoiximan GBL campaign.

Returning to the top-flight division of Greece, Vissariou carries experience from two years with Apollon Patras, between 2022 and 2024. Earlier in his career, he played for Larisa and Peristeri.

Capped with junior national teams of Greece, he represented his country in the 2022 FIBA U20 European Championship and the 2018 FIBA U16 European Championship.
