Aris shocked Bourg, Harper and Motley scored 30 points each

Aris Midea Thessaloniki saved the best for last, beating 91-88 Cosea JL Bourg-en-Bresse in France after a close game.

In crunch time first Xavier Castaneda missed the chance to put Bourg up by one with the score 89-88 in favor of Aris, Trey Woodbury was fouled and made two free throws (91-88) and finally, Joel Ayayi missed the last shot of the game and the chance to send it to overtime.

Vasilis Toliopoulos (photo) with 21 points was the top scorer of the winning side, while Mehdi Ngouama had 15 points for the losing side.

Jared Harper with 30 points led Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem to the 94-83 road win over Cedevita-Olimpija in a game with no surprise.

The final point difference is flattering for the hosts, as Hapoel led by 20 in the third period.

Also in Group B, with Adam Mokoka scoring 16 points Cluj got the 86-78 home win over Venezia by dominating the last quarter with a 30-11 partial score.

Juan Fernandez with 11 points was the top scorer of the losing side which had the lead for the first three periods, but couldn’t close the game the right way.

Bahcesehir stayed on the top of the Group A standings tied with Gran Canaria after beating winless Trefl Sopot.

The final score was 79-67 with Jaleen Smith scoring 22 points for the winning side in a game that proved to be quite easy affair.

Johnathan Motley with 30 points stole the show in the 92-72 win of Hapoel Tel Aviv over Buducnost. Marcus Foster added 23 points, while Pat Beverley was scoreless but this ended up being a side note.

The guests led 22-17 after the first quarter, but the rest of the game which was played in Bulgaria due to the situation in Israel was all Hapoel.

In Ulm, the hosts survived a close call as Eigirdas Zukauskas missed the last shot and the Germans beat Trento 84-82. Marcio Santos with 23 points was the top scorer of the winning side.

NBA prospect Ben Saraf had a full stat line with 14 points, six rebounds, and seven assists, while Zukauskas and Anthony Lamb with 17 points each were the top scorers of Trento.

The game of Valencia vs Lietkabelis was suspended due to the floods that are ravaging Spain and it will be scheduled in a later date.
