The BKT EuroCup Regular Season Round 6 fixture between Valencia and 7bet-Lietkabelis in La Fonteta has been rescheduled for Friday, December 20, 2024, at 20:30 local time.

Euroleague Basketball announced a new date and time on Thursday.

The game was initially scheduled to be played on October 30 but was suspended following a recommendation from the Valencia local government due to severe weather conditions.

At 7-0, Valencia currently tops Group B of the EuroCup Regular Season. Following the next three contests in the 18-game double-legged round-robin schedule, the team coached by Pedro Martinez will be at home and welcome U-BT Cluj-Napoca in Valencia, two days before the rescheduled affair opposite the Panevezys outfit. Another home game two days later with Real Madrid visiting in Round 12 of Spain’s Liga Endesa.

Behind a 2-5 W-L tally, Lietkabelis trails the seeds leading to the postseason of Euroleague Basketball’s second-tier club continental competition by 1.5 games. Three days before the trip to Valencia, the Lithuanian club will be in Thessaloniki, taking on Aris Midea in Round 12 of the EuroCup Regular Season. The next fixture on the team schedule is a Betsafe LKL Regular Season contest against Rytas in Active Vilnius Arena on December 28.

After the end of the Regular Season in early February, the top two teams on the final standings of each of the two EuroCup groups will advance directly to the Quarterfinals. Teams ranking third through sixth will compete in the Eighthfinals.
