Marcus Bingham Jr. is a newcomer to Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv.

The 24-year-old center penned a contract until the end of the 2025-26 season, the team announced on Tuesday evening.

At the top of the 2024-25 campaign, the former Michigan State standout produced several solid showings with Hapoel Netanel Holon in the Basketball Champions League. He tallied 17 points and 5.8 rebounds per contest over four games played in Group A of the Regular Season. The fellow Israeli club is currently tied with Nanterre 92 at 2-2 in second place of the four-team race amid a battle for a spot in the Round of 16.

Joining the team coached by Dimitris Itoudis, the next challenge is in the BKT EuroCup. The Tel Aviv outfit carries a 5-3 W-L tally, ranking third in Group A of the Regular Season. Seeking a postseason berth, the next fixture on the 18-game double-legged round-robin schedule is against ratiopharm Ulm in Arena Samokov on Thursday. Bingham is expected to suit up in the Round 9 affair.

After introducing himself to Israel’s Winner League in style with Hapoel Haifa to start his first professional campaign, returning with Hapoel Holon was attached to 17.0 points and 8.8 rebounds per game over five appearances. At 6-0 and 11 points due to a deduction of one point, his new side is tied with Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv in third place of the standings, behind Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem and Bnei PenLink Herzliya.
