One more week of action and one more win for Bahcesehir College Istanbul.
The Turkish side beat the Wolves 84-74 after a hard-fought game with Axel Bouteille scoring 19 points.
At the end of the third period, the guests were trailing by five (59-54), but Bahcesehir started the last period with a 7-0 run (66-54) and the Wolves couldn’t get into striking distance again.
Hapoel Tel Aviv got their first EuroCup win under coach Dimitris Itoudis by 15 points over Joventut.
With Jonathan Motley still missing, Antonio Blakeney scored 20 points and Pat Beverley had 15 plus six assists.
Also in Group A, Besiktas got a big road win over Buducnost by just two points (90-88). Kelan Martin and Jonah Mathews scored 20 points each for the winning side.
Kenan Kamenjas scored 21 points for the hosts, who had two chances to win the game in the closing seconds but McKinley Wright and Fletcher Magee missed their attempts for a three-pointer.
In Group B, the big showdown between first in the standings Valencia and second Hapoel Jerusalem ended up with the Spanish powerhouse getting the 96-83 win and staying perfect since the start of the season.
Chris Jones with 18 points was the star of the main contenders for the trophy.
