Bahcesehir beats Gran Canaria in Group A top spot clash

At this point, not only Bahcesehir is not considered a fluke, but they proved beyond any doubt that they fully control their destiny in the standings in the BKT EuroCup.

Facing Dreamland Gran Canaria, Bahcesehir led from wire to wire on the way to a 73-65 win. The hosts led even by 18 points (65-47) before GranCa made a last effort to come back.

The Spaniards trimmed the lead to six (69-63) with two minutes left but couldn’t get any closer.

Tai Odiase with 16 points led a balanced team effort by the winning side, while Mike Tobey with 16 points, six rebounds, and five assists did his best for the guests.

Thanks to this result, Bahcesehir remains alone on top of Group A with Gran Canaria following in the second place.

In Group B, Aris got the 81-66 home win over Lietkabelis with Trey Woodbury scoring a season-high of 25 points, while the Hamburg Towers managed to upset Hapoel with an 82-80 home win.
