Tension at Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv with Bruno Caboclo citing a lack of playing time.
The agent of the 29-year-old big, Daniel Hazan talked to Israeli outlet Sport5 about the current status of the player, revealing offers from Turkish Airlines EuroLeague clubs, Real Madrid and Panathinaikos Aktor.
“We demanded explanations,” he referred to Caboclo being limited to 11:38 in Round 12 of the 2024-25 BKT EuroCup Regular Season, “It is impossible for a player like Bruno Caboclo to only get 11 minutes. They said there would be a change, but right now we don’t see it on the horizon.”
“We have offers for him from EuroLeague teams, including Panathinaikos and Real Madrid, which is already in talks with Hapoel Tel Aviv and is expected to complete the deal within 72 hours,” added Hazan.
Reacting to the above, the general manager of the Tel Aviv outfit, Giorgos Hinas denied such developments. “No offer for Caboclo has been received yet,” he mentioned.
Last August, Caboclo signed with Hapoel Tel Aviv, following a noisy exit from Partizan Mozzart Bet, one year after a contract dispute was connected to his move from Umana Reyer Venice to the storied club located in the capital of Serbia.
Over 12 appearances in the EuroCup Regular Season, his contributions amount to 7.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per contest.
By overpowering Besiktas Fibabanka in Arena Samokov on Wednesday, the team coached by Dimitris Itoudis jumped to 7-5 in Group A.
