Uroš Plavšić joins Beşiktaş from Crvena Zvezda

Serbian national team player, Uroš Plavšić, joined Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet at the start of the season, but he will finish it with Beşiktaş Fibabanka.

As officially announced by the Turkish club, Plavšić joins Dušan Alimpijević’s team in Istanbul on loan from Crvena Zvezda to play BKT EuroCup.

Plavšić played 10 EuroLeague games for the Serbian team, averaging 5.2 points and 2.7 rebounds, while in the ABA League he had an average of 6.2 points and 2.9 boards.

The 26-year-old center played for Tennessee in the NCAA for four years between 2019 and 2023, averaging 4.9 points and 3.4 rebounds in his final college season. The Serbian center began his professional career with Mega, playing in the ABA League in the 2023/2024 season.

Plavšić was also part of the Serbian national team at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where he won a bronze medal.
