Despite playing without injured Pat Beverley and with prodigal son Johnathan Motley returning and scoring 14 points, Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv got the big 87-64 road win over Dreamland Gran Canaria, cutting the distance to the second spot in Group A standings to one win.
Coach Itoudis’ team dominated the first half building a 51-25 lead and never looked back. Gran Canaria finished the night with just 19% in threes (4/21).
Bar Timor also scored 14 for the winning side and Antonio Blakeney had 13 points. Joe Thomasson was the top scorer with 13 points for the hosts.

Still, Valencia remains on top of the group standings having a three-win distance from the second place.
In the other game of the night in Group A, Rasheed Sulaimon with 15 points led a balanced effort in the road win of Buducnost over Trefl (81-69).
