Behind 19 points and seven assists by Johnathan Motley, Hapoel Tel Aviv got the home win over Bahcesehir (84-77) and made a big step towards the second spot of Group A.
Marcus Foster added 17 points and Yam Madar had 16 for the winners, while Furkan Korkmaz scored 13 for the Turkish side.
Hapoel’s biggest star Pat Beverley did a bit of everything with nine points, five rebounds, and four assists.
Coach Dimitris Itoudis’ team is now tied with Gran Canaria at 10-6, after the Spanish defeat in Vilnius (photo) by the Wolves (88-76).
Marek Blazevic with 27 points and Andrew Andrews with 25 points made things happen for the winners, while Pierre Pelos with 22 points and Caleb Homsley with 20 did their best for the Spanish team.

Kyle Wiltjer’s two free throws gave the Italians the win, as neither team could score after that with 64 seconds left. Mfiondu Kabengele, with 16 points and six rebounds, was the top scorer for the winners.
