Nikos Vetoulas has officially taken over as the new head coach of Aris Midea Thessaloniki, signing a contract that extends through the end of the 2024-25 season.

This appointment marks a return to familiar territory for the 50-year-old, who played for Aris during the 2003-04 season and played a key role in the team’s triumph in the Greek Cup. He also began his coaching journey as an assistant with Aris during the 2008-09 campaign.

Vetoulas is set to lead Aris in the BKT EuroCup, marking his first experience coaching in the competition.

Before this latest appointment, he briefly managed Maroussi from February to October 2024. His extensive coaching career also includes stints with several Greek clubs, such as Apollon Patras (2010-15 and 2020-23), Promitheas Patras (2016-17), Rethymno Cretan Kings (2017-18), Kolossos Rodou (2018-19), and Ionikos Nikaias (2019-20).
