It was a night to remember in the BKT EuroCup with eight games played and five playoff tickets on the line.
When all was said and done Besiktas, Wolves, Cluj, Venice, and Buducnost qualified with Ulm missing the cut after losing at home to Hapoel Tel Aviv (97-90), which jumped to the second spot of the Group A standings.
In Group B, Bourg gave a desperate fight, but Valencia, despite already securing the top spot, beat them by two points (100-98) after a big game and kept them out of the postseason.
Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem also won to secure second place in B, thus joining Bahcesehir College Istanbul, Hapoel Tel Aviv, and Valencia Basket with eighth-finals byes and home-court advantage in the single-game quarterfinals.
The eighth-final matchups will feature Dreamlife Gran Canaria against Umana Reyer Venice,
Turk Telekom Ankara against Buducnost VOLI Podgorica, Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana against Besiktas Fibabanka Istanbul, and Wolves Twinsbet Vilnius against U-BT Cluj-Napoca.
The single-game EuroCup Eighthfinals will be played on Tuesday, March 4, and Wednesday, March 5, and the quarterfinals will take place the following week.
