Dinamo Sassari decided to make another move in order to cover the gap in its roster that was created after the departure of Marques Haynes.
The reigning Italian champions brought in Nigerian Josh Akognon who comes from the Jilin Northeast Tigers in China. In the Chinese CBA Championship, Akognon averaged 32.5 points per game, 5.6 rebounds and 3.9 assists. Through this addition, the team from northern Italy adds another weapon in its backcourt, primary a scoring one.
Akognon won’t be able to help Sassari, even if the team advances to the next stage and can be eligible to participate only in the Serie A.
