After Cedi Osman and Nick Calathes, PAOK is about to add one more former EuroLeague player on their roster.
The 36-year-0ld big man Donatas Motiejunas, according to numerous sources, is about to sign with the club for the upcoming season.
The 20th pick of the 2011 NBA draft spend eight years in the NBA between 2012 and 2019. He then moved to China and returned back to Europe, playing with Monaco since 2021 and last year in Serbia with Crvena Zvezda.
PAOK needs a boost in the front line and the veteran addition can help the team win the EuroCup trophy and a spot in next season’s EuroLeague.
Meanwhile, PAOK beat Panathinaikos in the Greek Super Cup semifinal and the club is also a candidate to become one of the eight new EuroLeague franchises for next season.
