During its first ever participation in international competitions, Trento has managed to stun everyone with its accomplishments. The Italian team, that played in the second division two years ago, continued its magical journey by advancing to the Eurocup semifinals.

By defeating Olimpia Milano 92 – 79 on the road, Trento made it to the best four teams of the competition with an admirable ease, since it had also won the first quarterfinal, 83 – 73. The one to star the brightest among his teammates during the latest historic night for the team, was no other than Dominique Sutton. The American swingman had a near perfect performance with 20 points (8/10 field goals), 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals, that were combined for a superb 34 in the evaluation system.

Like his team, Sutton is a “rookie” to the demands and traps that this kind of games hold but that didn’t seem to cause him any trouble at all. Quite the contrary, he played what was probably one of his best games ever in Europe, with career highs in points and assists during the most important battle of his team. Until the next.
