Ergin Ataman wants his players to meet expectations tomorrow and get the title for Galatasaray. That’s why he expects them to play once again “incredible basketball” in front of their fans.
As he said: “Tactically, everything we had planned at Game 1, happened on the court. But we weren’t good offensively. We fought hard and a 4 points difference is acceptable. We have played incredible basketball in front of our fans. I hope we will be champions after tomorrow’s game. But we shouldn’t think about that, we shouldn’t make celebrate yet. We must turn this gym into an arena in which we can’t be defeated. I’m telling from the first day, we are in this cup to become champions”.
After all, there’s a sold out and the fans of Galatasaray want this win, which also means a ticket to Euroleague. As Ataman explained: “There were 12.500 tickets for this game but 80.000 people wanted to buy tickets. I hope we will win this game”.
Still, there’s a question mark about forward Caleb Green, according to Ataman: “Green couldn’t participate in today’s practice due to his knee injury. He won’t participate our last practice before the match too. But he told us he wants to play in this game and probably he will play after making an injection.”
