Stelmet Zielona Gora inked guard James Florence with a one-year deal. Florence (1.85m., 28 years old) arrives from Cibona Zagreb, where he averaged 12.8 points and 3.6 assists in 20 Adriatic League games last season. He boosted his scoring numbers in the Croatian League, averaging a competition-best 18.7 points in 19 games. He reached the finals with Cibona last season.
Florence began the 2015-16 season with Paris Levallois in France and joined Cibona in October. He started his career in Igokea of Bosnia and Herzegovina and has also played for Kryvbasbasket-Lux Kryvyi Rih in Ukraine, Szolnoki Olaj in Hungary, New Yorker Phantom Braunschweig in Germany, Zadar in Croatia and TED Kojelliler Ankara in Turkey.
Florence is going to make his 7DAYS EuroCup debut with Zielona Gora next season.
