A change of scenery will take place in Stefan Markovic’s career during the upcoming season. The Serbian point guard signed a deal with Zenit St. Petersburg, as officially announced by the club.
Markovic, who is currently in Rio with the Serbian national team spent the two previous years playing for Unicaja Malaga. He averaged 6.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists in the 2015/2016 Liga Endesa, while scoring 3.6 points and dishing 4.9 assists per game in Euroleague.
He has been a silver medalist with Serbia in the World Championship of 2014 and Eurobasket 2009.
