Fuenlabrada officially announced that it has reached a mutual agreement with Spanish veteran Carlos Cabezas to be released from the club.
Per the official announcement: “Fuenlabrada and Carlos Cabezas reached an agreeement to terminate the contract that binds them. The two parties have seen fit to end this contractual relationship for purely sporting reasons.”
“Carlos is grateful for the confidence given by the club over summer and expresses regret for not being able to continue in a team that always held dear. We wish him well in the future, as he does to the team.”
Cabezas was the top scorer of Fuenlabrada in the Spanish league, averaging 10.2 points in 19 minutes per game.
